Friday 29 May, the Catholic Diocese of Parramatta hosted the renowned Notre Dame Folk Choir on their 2015 Australian Tour. Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta students and teachers gathered together at St Patrick's Cathedral, Parramatta to exchange experiences with the choir through music and workshops.

The day began with morning prayer at 9:15am, followed by a concert featuring opportunities for students to join with the choir in song. Students participated in workshops designed to explore liturgical music in a variety of styles and reflect with the choir on music as ministry. Teacher workshops focused on enhancing dialogue and collaboration between Religious Education Coordinators and Music Teachers and how to select liturgical music. The memorable event concluded with Mass and a final moving performance from the choir.
