How to Enrol

WE ARE NOW ACCEPTING ENROLMENTS

FOR YEAR 7 & 11, 2019


Our greatest hope for our St Clare graduates, is that they are well on their way to becoming mature, responsible and compassionate young adults. We hope they graduate from our school, having learnt a range of intellectual and practical skills, and an appreciation of cultural and physical pursuits.


Please note that as a Catholic school we have a strong religious dimension, and people of other faiths who wish to enrol, must be able to support and fully participate in the religious activities of the College.

Enrolments are considered at any time throughout the year, however, the Year 7 enrolment process commences in April each year. If necessary, your application will be held on a waiting list until a position becomes available.

Enrolment Procedure

Step 1:

View our facilities

Choosing the right school is an important decision. Our Open Day, held in March each year, and Parent Information Evening held in April, provide wonderful opportunities for prospective families to view our facilities and meet our staff.

Alternatively, throughout the year, families can arrange a tour of the school by contacting our Enrolment Officer on 9830 2400.

Step 2:

Review the
enrolment instructions

Before completing the Enrolment Application, read the Enrolment Instructions and Checklist for relevant supporting documents in the Enrolment Application Form.

Enrolment packages containing the Enrolment Instructions and Application Forms are also available from the school office.


Step 3:

Enrolment Application

Complete and submit an: The completed Enrolment Application, together with all requested supporting documentation, must be submitted, in person, to our school office. Please be aware that we are unable to accept or process incomplete applications and note that submitting an application does not guarantee automatic placement. Please bring with you original documentation to be sighted and copied, if required.


Step 4:

Enrolment Interview

All students seeking enrolment at are required to attend an interview. Once the Enrolment Application has been submitted, our Enrolment Officer will contact you to schedule an interview. The enrolling student and at least one parent/carer are required to attend the interview.

A non-refundable application fee of $100 is payable at the time of submitting your application. $50 of this fee will be used towards your first term school-based fees.


Step 5:

Enrolment Acceptance

We will advise the outcome of your application in writing shortly after the interview.

If you receive a Letter of Offer, you are required to return the Enrolment Acceptance Slip.

BYALLAWA means ‘yarn up’ or ‘speaking together’ and in this spirit of cooperation, the Byallawa Scheme supports the enrolment of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children in Parramatta Diocesan Catholic schools.

Enquire about a scholarship

The Bishop Manning Scholarship Fund provides full or part scholarships to assist families in financial need who desire a Catholic education for their children, but for whom the cost is out of reach. Normal school enrolment criteria apply. Contact your local Catholic school to learn more or visit the Bishop Manning Scholarship Fund.
