STUDENT SPOTLIGHT - CHARLOTTE BEDWELL Charlotte Bedwell has been playing softball since she was 4 years old & was very lucky to represent NSWPSSA Softball in 2022,was successful in being selected to represent Australia early last year 2023 & travelled to NZ where her team came away winners, she was also selected into the U14s metro team in mid-2023 which she travelled to QLD, January this year 2024 Charlotte was selected in the U14s NSW Regionals Team which travelled to Canberra ACT, she was also lucky to be selected in the Sydney West Softball Team 2024 but unfortunately due to wet weather the competition was cancelled, but Charlotte’s main goal has always been to represent NSW & with all her hard work & determination Charlotte was selected out of 68 girls down to 16 in September to represent in the NSW U16s State Team which will travel to Perth second week of January 2025, Charlotte’s main position is pitcher & has been clocked doing speeds of 94-95km, when she isn’t pitching, she likes to play shortstop or centre field & she can definitely hit a ball. #stclaresrepresent #praisegodbyyourlife

STUDENT SPOTLIGHT: BROOKLYN WILLIAMS Brooklyn was selected to play for NSW Oztag by an independent coach who observed her performance at the 2024 state cup Oztag championships. This selection was out of 300 players across 18 teams. The NSW teams versed Queensland at the end of September in Coffs Harbour. Brooklyn played 4 games, with her team winning the series with a clean sweep and claiming the gold medal. Brooklyn also scored herself a nice try in game 1 Well Done Brooklyn on all your sporting achievements throughout 2024! #stclaresrepresent #praisegodbyyourlife

PCYC WORK READY PROGRAM! "Work Ready" is a four-day holistic program including accredited First Aid and White Card training and non-accredited content preparing young people to enter the workforce. The program is aimed at those who wish to enter a trade and are either in search of casual employment or who maybe in the process of leaving school or have just left school. SOCIAL JUSTICE STATEMENT LAUNCH 2024-2025 On Thursday, 17th of October, Year 9 student leaders had the opportunity to attend the launch of the Social Justice Statement for 2024-2025 at West HQ. The theme, "Truth & Peace," was officially introduced, and students learned how they can lead the St. Clare's Catholic High School community in deepening their understanding of the Gospel teachings and promoting peace. #stclaresrepresent #praisegodbyyourlife
