St Clare's acknowledges parents and carers as each student’s most influential, primary and essential educators.
We encourage parents to be actively involved in school life and work with us to ensure the best educational outcomes for your child. We value parents and the contributions they can make throughout their child’s education.
How Can I Contribute?
An invitation is always extended to parents for our various functions during the school year, such as:
- Clare Day
- Mass
- Parent/Teacher Interviews
- Information Nights
- Subject Selection Evenings
- Showcase Performances
- Working Bees
Parents have a voice through the Parent and Friends Association and are also encouraged to volunteer as canteen helpers.
Communication between school and home is a priority for St Clare's. ‘Clare Connection’ is our fortnightly newsletter and teachers can communicate with parents through the student diary or with phone calls. Our SMS system also keeps parents up-to-date with student absences and lateness.
Show your children that volunteering is a good thing.
Speak with our friendly staff today and let them know you’re interested in becoming a parent volunteer.
Volunteer and Contractor Training
We welcome the contribution volunteers make to the life of our school.
As part of our commitment to keeping students safe, all volunteers in schools are required to complete the building child safe communities undertaking form and child protection training module before volunteering. These checks reduce potential risk and forms part of our strategy to build child safe communities.

We look forward to you joining us!
